Trainee Scheme is a one-year training course in Activities Leadership

The Training Scheme is a one-year training course in Activities Leadership. Trainees undergo a comprehensive training programme designed to teach the necessary skills for leading safe activity sessions, encourage the de-velopment of a personal leadership style and create an impact on guests who use the Centre.

Open to 18 to 24-year-olds of British nationality. Experience is not necessary, but a desire to develop leader-ship skills while working in outdoor pursuits with young people is. The Scheme is ideal for young people look-ing for a different year-out, formal qualifications in Activity Leadership or a start into youthwork-orientated careers. Preference given to candidates with an open attitude towards the Christian nature of the company.

Trainees live on-site in our community accommodation blocks set in the hills of South Shropshire if applying for Pioneer, Staffordshire if applying for Whitemoor Lakes or Northamptonshire, if applying for Benham.

The Scheme will pay for most fees connected with the formal qualifications obtained. Room and Board, work uniform, and ID badges are provided.
