Working amongst churches, schools and leaders on the Isle of Man, with a strong emphasis on quality personal development.

This leadership development year equips you through practical engagement with schools, churches and leaders all across the Isle of Man. You will be placed for half of your time in a local sponsoring church, the rest of your hours involve Island wide resourcing, development and training.

There are many training opportunities throughout the year, the biggest of which are three specific courses. One is in schools work, one is in leadership development and the other is discretionary.

All gappers live in Port St Mary, in a 22 roomed guest house, by the sea, called Mallmore.

This gap-year is fully funded. All training, food, accommodation and resources are paid for by the organisation and the churches. All volunteers have to raise is the recommended £30 per week spending money.
